Our Flu Vaccination clinics will begin in September. We will be offering vaccinations to all patients aged 65 years and over. All patients with Chronic Conditions who are considered at risk. Pregnant women and children aged 2 - 3 years. There are several flu vaccines available and patients will be booked for the one that is most effective for their age. Our clinics will be timed according to the delivery of each of these vaccine types. This may differ slightly for each category.

We hope to start booking our clinics in August once we have received confirmation of delivery dates. We hope to have completed our vaccinations by the end of November.

We would ask all patients contacted to book an appointment to respond to our first invitation. If you have not received an invitation by the first week of September and think you fall into one of the categories above please contact us and check.

Nurse Practitioners

Louise Garbett (f)

Amy Hawthorne (f)

The role of nurse practitioner is becoming an integral part of general practice and allows for us to meet the ever increasing demand for clinicians time.

Louise and Amy are both qualified to see patients presenting with a wide variety of health needs, often without the need to see one of our GPs.

Patients contacting the practice requesting appointments are asked for the reason they need to be seen. This allows the reception staff to direct patients to the most appropriate appointment. This can often be our Nurse Practitioner.
